As critical as I have been of the team this season, they were clearly by far the better of two poor sides and were the only team trying to win the game. Millwall’s disgraceful tactics of time-wasting and disrupting the game from midway through the first half reaped exactly what they sowed – nothing.
We’re still alive and kicking, facing two games this week which usually leave us empty-handed, so here’s hoping that this win signals that our luck is about to change.
And finally, to those Town “fans” who booed sub Tom Edwards onto the pitch – you should be ashamed of yourselves.
